    Job Description

    Our AdventHealth Medical Group Surgery group is looking for a dynamic and quality focused, colorectal surgeon to join our established team of surgeons at our highly rated, 300 bed AdventHealth Waterman Hospital in Tavares, FL.

    AdventHealth is an established nationwide nonprofit connected system of care, consistently leading in quality, safety, and patient satisfaction. With the mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ, AdventHealth focuses on providing whole person care to heal the mind, body, and spirit.

    We are seeking a colorectal surgeon dedicated to continuing our tradition of excellence in both clinical practice and professionalism, while maintaining AdventHealths mission, vision, and values.

    Requirements of the position include:

    • Board Certification / Eligibility through The American Board of Surgery & the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery
    • Actively practice general surgery & colorectal surgery
    • Ability/willingness to take general surgery call
    • Active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure)
    • DEA License required or ability to obtain
    • Team player with patient-first mindset
    • Excellent communication skills

    AdventHealth Waterman has 300 beds and is one of the seven hospitals in Flagler, Lake and Volusia counties that compose the AdventHealth East Florida Division. Our state-of-the-art hospital houses some of the most advanced clinical technology and medical talent our area has to offer. AdventHealth Waterman offers a vast array of services including robotic assisted surgery, TrueBeam linear accelerator for radiation oncology, premiere heart and vascular care, orthopedic surgery, sports medicine with inpatient rehabilitation, women and children care, full imaging and laboratory services.
