POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse, the E D Tech performs clerical and clinical assistive tasks in the delivery of patient care.
The E D Tech must be proficient in secretarial duties, as well as meet qualifications required for a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Responsible for participating in the care of patients presenting to the Emergency Department by coordinating all clerical functions. Maintains safe work environment and ensures supplies are available. Supports the health care providers to provide cost-effective, quality care to the population served in the ED. Assists with orienting new employees and students as required.QUALIFICATIONS:
