Job Title:
Manufacturing Automation EngineerRoles & Responsibilities:Translate user requirements into functional design and technical conceptsProvide advanced technical solutions and lead teamsApply engineering principles creatively to solve manufacturing problemsConduct plant assessments and define project scopesSupport RFQ/RFI processes and evaluate vendor quotesAssist in proposal preparation and project acquisitionCoordinate project teams and manage stakeholdersEnsure customer satisfaction and future engagementLimited travel required for project matters
Required Skills:
Project management and automation project executionCustomer and stakeholder managementVendor management and RFQ processesPlant and process assessmentsInterpersonal and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft softwareCritical thinking and problem-solvingBasic CAD skills (desirable)
Hands-on experience in manufacturing automationStrong mechanical engineering and control automation knowledgeExperience in robotic and automation work cell layoutsAbility to troubleshoot equipment issuesFamiliarity with electrical schematicsEligibility Criteria:
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience5+ years of relevant work experience
Industry Experience:
Preferred: Truck & Off-Highway ManufacturingNote: CAD experience is desirable but not mandatory. KUKA Robotics experience is preferred but not mandatory.
