    Description

    Job Summary:

    Insight Global is looking for an electrical technician to join one of our clients in Lexington, NC. This company is a diversified steel and steel products company in the United States, producing everything from raw materials, steel, and industrial gasses to fabricated steel products.

    Basic Job Functions:

    The Electrical Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to, taking care of our client's customers by executing the division's safety, quality, cost, productivity, and profitability objectives. This includes troubleshooting and repairs, cooperating with and supporting operations, aggressively pursuing process improvement, assist with documentation and training for all equipment and other duties as assigned. Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 4 years of experience working in industrial (or comparable) Electrical maintenance.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Prior experience in Steel Mill electrical maintenance
    • Demonstrated understanding of Power concepts.
    • Demonstrated understanding of Automation technologies.
    • Demonstrated basic hydraulic/mechanic understanding.
    • 2-year degree in electrical or related field

    Compensation:

    $90,000 to $120,000 per year annual salary.

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
