This Utah based personal lines carrier has been operational for over a century and will add a key role to their executive management team.
VP of Finance is charged to lead the company strategic Enterprise Risk Management and be an integral part of the Critical Thought Leadership Team.
This VP of Finance willLead the Insurance workflow/internal controls and will successfully drive growth, process innovation, control deficiencies and achieve operating excellence.

Be hands-on, collaborative spirited leader who solves complex challenges to ensure goal delivery.
Have passion for operational excellence through building relationships with key stakeholders to enhance process efficiency and mitigate risk.

Experience:
A career history which includes experience having previously led the ERM experience in a small to medium sized P&C insurance carrier is preferred
A proven track record showing the effect of the implemented risk management policies, programs and systems – being able to explain how efficiencies were improved under your leadership as well as impact on the company bottom-line
A strong financial background which should include FP&A, modeling, data analytics, project management and all the necessary tools to perform a positive ERM response is required.
This role requires a financial system transformation background, i.e., road map, designing/selection, implementation, integration, and conversion. Especially helpful - hands-on experience in financial system design/implementation and bringing in, within budget and on time, internal control projects which included - Billing and PolicyA CPA is a preference, not required
Requires superb communication skills, including listening and speaking
Investment portfolio management experience is preferred
