    Summary



    This position is located in Jimmy Carter National Historical Park, in the Interpretive Division.


    Career-Seasonal appointments are permanent positions and include the same benefits as Career appointments, but do not provide work on a year-round basis.

    Anticipated furlough is four pay periods per year.

    Duties


    Open to the first 100 applicants or until 04/09/2024 whichever comes first. All applications submitted by 11:59 (EST) on the closing day will receive consideration.

    As a Park Ranger (Interpretation), you will perform the following duties:

    • Co-manages the day to day functions of education operations
    • Provides formal and informal interpretation to park visitors, including curriculumbased education programs
    • Supervises permanent and temporary NPS staff
    • Serves as daily supervisor and mentor of division interns
    • Participates in long term park planning for interpretation and education
    • Supports park social media platforms through development of content.
