- Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems to detect and respond to any unusual activity
- Conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises to deter potential security threats
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing the situation and taking appropriate action
- Provide a warm and welcoming presence to guests and staff
- Assist guests with security-related inquiries and concerns, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction
- Escort guests and staff to their vehicles during late hours or when requested
- Enforce hotel policies and procedures to maintain a secure and compliant environment
- Ensure that fire and safety equipment is in working order and report any issues promptly
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address safety hazards
- Act as a first responder during emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, and evacuations
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
- Participate in regular emergency response training drills
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities
- Collaborate with the Director of Security to analyze security trends and implement preventative measures
- Work closely with other hotel departments, including front desk, concierge, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations
- Communicate effectively with fellow Security Agents to maintain a united security front
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in security or law enforcement is a plus
- Proven experience in security or related roles, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong observational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to security and safety
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and lift as needed
- Availability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays

As the Security Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, colleagues and property. You will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment while providing exceptional customer service. The Security Agent will work closely with the Director of Security and other team members to uphold the highest standards of safety and hospitality.
