- Design and analyze structures using software tools such as FEA (Finite Element Analysis)
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to develop structural designs that meet project requirements
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and reports
- Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and provide recommendations for repairs or modifications
- Perform calculations to determine load capacities, stresses, and deflections
- Review and approve construction plans to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Oversee the construction process to ensure adherence to design specifications
- Utilize software programs such as Bluebeam, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and CAD for drafting and design purposes
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices - Proficiency in software tools such as FEA, Bluebeam, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and CAD
- Structural engineering and licensed structural engineering more importantly.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
