We are looking for individuals who are ready for a rewarding new career as EMT-Basic or Paramedics in Van Buren County Medical Services (VBEMS).
The ideal candidate will have completion of State of Michigan approved EMT-Basic training program with current licensure in good standing at EMT Basic level;
or Completion of State of Michigan approved Paramedic training program with current licensure in good standing at paramedic level;
and ability to work under pressure in difficult situations; mental ability to assess quickly a scene and patient; tactful communication skills;
demonstrates ability to function independently in critical situations; maintain confidentiality regarding patient care information;
