- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is highly preferred.
- Hold certification from AAPC or AHIMA as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and Certified Professional Medical Record Auditor (CMPA), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), or a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT).
- Minimum of three years of experience in conducting claims validation reviews in a multi-specialty outpatient/Ambulatory Surgery Center is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in ICD, CPT, HCPCS coding classifications is mandatory, with knowledge of DRG, APC, and ASC payment methodology being advantageous.

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity at University Health for the role of Integrity Auditor, focusing on Coding, Billing, and Compliance Monitoring. This is a full-time position that requires on-site work during day shift hours.
POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of our dedicated team, you will be responsible for conducting analytical auditing and monitoring activities to ensure compliance with University Health's program. Collaborating with the Chief Compliance/HIPAA Officer, you will assist in developing an annual audit plan. Your primary focus will be on audits related to coding, billing, medical record documentation, claims, clinical data, and reports affecting the revenue cycle. You will play a key role in reviewing University Health's internal control structures to prevent and detect errors, fraud, waste, and abuse, safeguarding the department's reputation for objectivity and credibility. Upholding professionalism and integrity, you will handle all interactions with a high level of confidentiality.
