    The Windows Platform Engineering team is seeking a skilled Windows Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Boise, Idaho. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of Windows-based systems. They will collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure smooth and efficient operation of our organization's infrastructure.

    The Windows Infrastructure Engineer will play a key role in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Windows servers, ensuring high availability and performance.

    Key Responsibilities + Manage and administer Windows-based servers and systems, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy. + Install, configure, and maintain Windows server operating systems and applications. + Treat infrastructure as code using Ansible and PowerShell. + Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment, configuration, and management processes. + Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. + Implement security measures to safeguard systems against unauthorized access and data breaches. + Collaborate with other IT team members to plan and implement infrastructure projects, upgrades, and migrations. + Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. + Participate in L3 production support and incident response for our team's globally deployed, 724 environments. + Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Windows system administration.
