    Positions details:

    • Location: Mease Countryside Hospital 3231 N. McMullen Booth Rd, Safety Harbor, FL
    • Status: Full Time
    • Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
    • Every other weekend requirement
    • On Call: No
    • Always in person

    Requirements:

    • RN (Registered Nurse) License
    • Diploma, Associate's, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
    • 1-year experience in the emergency department
    • BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
    • ACLS certification with the American Heart Association
    • PALS certification with the American Heart Association

    The Registered Nurse – responsibilities and skills:

    • Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
    • Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
    • Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patients, family and significant others
    • Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment
    • Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments.
    • Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient's medical condition
    • Responding to medical emergencies for critical patients
    • High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient
    • Professional accountability and development
