Job summary
The Lead Teacher is responsible for planning, organizing and monitoring the fiscal, physical and operational aspects of a Head Start Center. This responsibility includes setting up classrooms and developing and implementing educational programs.The teacher will be in charge of supervising classroom staff and ensuring that children receive the appropriate services for all components offered by Head Start.
The position requires excellent communication skills, patience, flexibility and emotional maturity to work effectively with children and parents.
