    **Shuttle Driver**

    CRST the Transportation Solutions, Inc. is looking to add another self-motivated **Shuttle Driver** to our growing organization in Cedar Rapids, IA.

    **Hours:** Sunday - Thursday 12:00pm 9:00pm (2nd shift)

    **Starting pay:** $ $15.00 based on experience

    **Job Summary**: CRST Expedited Solutions division is our largest fleet. Our nimble driving teams are on the road around the clock to the lower 48 states and Mexico. We are dedicated to delivering fast, reliable, high-quality service to our customers.

    The Shuttle Driver is responsible for safely transporting Students/Drivers around the Cedar Rapids metro area and some out-of-town trips as needed in a friendly and professional manner.

    **Job Responsibilities:**

    Drive safely, responsibly, and be prepared for all road conditions, maintaining compliance with state and local laws and regulations related to the operation of passenger vehicles on a public roadway.

    Respect fellow employees, drivers, students, and equipment.

    Conduct daily vehicle inspections prior to operation of vehicles, maintain vehicle condition reports for submitting to management, and maintenance reports as needed for repairs.

    Maintain contact with the Training Center Front Desk for scheduling student/driver transportation.

    Manage passenger behavior quickly and effectively, solving problems as they arise.

    Fuel shuttle van as required, taking responsibility for loss or damage to fuel cards and record information as per procedure, not allowing the tank to go below 1/2, and not having passengers on board while fueling

    Maintain a clean van.

    Complete & submit all pre-trips for all defects.

    Report unsafe conditions and injuries in a timely manner.

    **Requirements:**

    A high school diploma or GED required

    Must hold a valid Iowa Driver's License and have a clean, safe driving record

    Class B with Passenger Endorsement preferred, but not required

    Verbal communication skills needed

    Conflict resolution skills needed
