Overview:
Chicago Title's downtown Chicago Loop operation seeks an escrow officer to coordinate, close and fund residential transactions in a large, dynamic market

Duties:
Review documents and closing instructions submitted by attorneys and lenders for compliance and requirements to closeCommunicate requirements and give status updates to all parties in the transaction whether those parties are in person or remotely attending the closingFinalize settlement statements and distribute to appropriate partiesCreate transaction documents as required based on the requirements, instructions and details of each transactionObtain signatures and notarize documentsWork with title and underwriting to clear title exceptionsReceive, disburse and obtaining funding approval for escrow closingsTimely submission of accurate documents for recordingEducation:High School diploma or equivalent

Experience:
2+ years escrow experienceCommercial transaction experience a plusSoftPro Select software experience preferredIllinois Notary
