Mechanical/Electrical Engineer
Location:
Middletown, Connecticut
Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical/electrical systems, components, and products for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) projects.
Conduct feasibility studies and analyze technical specifications to determine optimal engineering solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure successful MEP project execution.
Perform calculations, simulations, and testing to validate designs and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Provide technical support throughout the MEP project lifecycle, from concept development to construction and beyond.
Continuously evaluate and enhance MEP designs and processes to improve performance, efficiency, and sustainability.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate into MEP projects.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in MEP engineering, with a focus on design and construction projects.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD) and other relevant engineering tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in MEP design and construction.
Ability to manage multiple MEP projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
