Overview:

The position of MR Safety Aide performs monitoring and safety checks to gain MRI safety compliance. This individual performs a variety of non technical functions to assist the staff in MRI including MRI technologists, nurses, and anesthesia personnel.

• The primary role of the MRI safety aide is that of ?gatekeeper?, enforcing compliance of MRI safety policies and procedures including ferro free dress attire and assisting with written, verbal, and ferromagnetic screening.
• The MRI safety aide helps prepare patients for MRI exams.
• The MRI safety aide assists the technologist with the safe transfer of MR patients.
• The MR safety aide assists in scanning employees/visitors screening forms into Image Now.
• The MRI safety aide assists with timely turnover of the MRI room.

Qualifications:

• HS diploma or equivalent and Jobs requiring direct patient care, customer service, industrial safety.
• BLS certification Required 30 Days

Starting Pay:

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $17.83/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

Remote Work/Work from Home:

This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children's Mercy locations and may not work from home.
