Job DescriptionSalary:

Asphalt Surfacing Company is looking for self-motivated Paving and Grading Equipment Operators to join their team. Individuals should possess a desire to excel, show pride in the work they complete, love working outdoors, strive for quality, enjoy teamwork and show motivation.

Essential Duties

Available positions and responsibilities include:

Heavy Equipment Operator requires experience in utilizing a combination of construction equipment including front end loaders, hydraulic excavators, backhoes, dozers, skid steers and blades.
Paving Equipment Operator responsibilities include operating equipment used for applying asphalt or other materials to driveways, road beds, parking lots, airport runways and taxiways as well as equipment used for compacting gravel, dirt, or other materials. Equipment Includes asphalt paving machine operators, screed operators, skid steer operators, plate packers, distributors, roller operators, and chip spreader operators.

Qualifications

Commitment to operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Ability to effectively communicate with others on the jobsite
Perform daily maintenance inspection on equipment
Ability to lift 60 lbs. multiple times
Attention to detail
Valid driver's license required (CDL preferred or ability to obtain)
Good attendance and punctuality
Pre-employment drug screening and physical required

Both seasonal position and full-time positions are available based on experience.
