With their continued expansion, they're now seeking an Associate with 2-5 years of commercial litigation experience to join their team.     • Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies and case preparation.
    • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
    • Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and mediations.
    • Manage all aspects of discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, conducting depositions, and preparing witnesses.
    • Communicate with clients to provide legal advice, updates on case progress, and guidance on legal matters.
    • Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies and tactics.
    • Attend court hearings and proceedings, advocating for clients' interests effectively.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
    • Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.
    • Stay current with developments in relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
    Highlighted Requirements:
    • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
    • Admission to the Kentucky State Bar and eligibility to practice law in the state.
    • 2-5 years of experience in commercial litigation.
    • Strong understanding of civil procedure, evidence, and litigation tactics.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to conduct legal research efficiently and effectively using various resources.
    • Experience managing discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests and taking depositions.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
    • Professional demeanor and ability to interact confidently with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
    • Willingness to travel for court appearances and client meetings, as required.
