    The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Adult and Pediatric Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism, seeks full-time Assistant Professors to join an established group of nationally known endocrinologists. Appointees will have a mix of inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities primarily at our Hyde Park campus and at our network and affiliate sites. Inpatient activities will be on the endocrinology consultation service and/or on the General Medicine inpatient service. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) will be dependent upon qualifications.

    Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be Board Certified or Eligible in Endocrinology.
