    Description

    $5,000 Sign on Bonus for eligible, experienced COTAs

    This is a full time position working at Oro Valley Hospital.

    Summary:
    Administers specified evaluations, conducts group programs, and assists in implementing specific treatment programs under the guidance of a Licensed Occupational Therapist


    This position will almost exclusively work in our skilled nursing unit (SNU) with occasional opportunities to work in Acute care and / or rehab.

    Training in all three areas will be done during and after initial orientation. Arizona fingerprint card will be required but can be attained before hiring if not already done.


    Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

    Education:


    Required:
    Associate's Degree from an accredited program for occupational therapy assistants.


    Experience:

    Preferred:
    One (1) year of related experience.


    Skills:


    Appropriate prioritization and planning skills, while achieving safety and quality in a high volume environment; Engaging and effective communication and service skills; Adherence to policy and procedures; Process improvement oriented; Self-initiative to assist with whatever is needed.


    Licenses/Certifications:

    Required:
    Current Az certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant; American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) BLS certification

    Fingerprint Clearance Card
