    Description
    The Lincoln Service Porter is responsible for delivering a warm and helpful welcome to our service clients. You will be the first person our clients meet on the service drive. You will also assist the Lincoln Service Advisor with client write-up, reservations, and client follow-up. The Lincoln Service Porter will welcome each client and guide them to the Lincoln Service Advisor.

    The Lincoln Service Porter will move and clean client vehicles and help the Service Manager and Lincoln advisor as needed.

    You will also be expected to help the entire service team and assist both Ford and Lincoln clients.

    The ideal candidate will be proactive in greeting and helping clients.

    They will communicate effectively with their teammates and will be committed to being visible and available to help co-workers and clients when needed.

    The schedule is M-F 7:30AM-5:30PM with an occasional early start or request for weekend coverage.

    Responsibilities


    • Keeps the service drive clear and free of vehicles
    • Assists advisors in retrieving customer cars.
    • Learn and develop proficiency in client write-up tools (CDK), service reservations (shop loader), and pickup and delivery (LincolnValet).
    • Ensures that cars are cleaned prior to delivery and removes all floor mats and seat covers.
    • Installs all seat covers and floor mats at drop off
    • Keeps back lot neat and organized
    • Assists in keeping service area clean and neat
    • Drives vehicles to and from service drive, technician stalls, and parking lot as needed.
    • Test drive vehicles upon request of service manager or service technician
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications


    • High School Diploma Preferred
    • No prior training or experience required
    • Valid CA Drivers license and clean DMV record
    • Attention to detail and pride in work
