    The Economics Department at Columbia University invites applications for the Wesley Clair Mitchell Visiting Professor to be filled at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor, Visiting Associate Professor, or Visiting Professor. This appointment is for a period of one or two semesters, to begin July 1, 2024 or January 1, 2025. The Visiting Professor is a scholar and teacher holding the doctorate or its professional equivalent who is widely recognized for his or her distinction. The Wesley Clair Mitchell Research Professorship in Economics may be held either by a Columbia faculty member or by a visiting professor who is in residence at Columbia while on leave from the home institution.
