Description
JOBSUMMARY: Thisishourlypaidwork recruitingtalentfortheDepartmentofJuvenileJustice. Dutiesincludeworkingwithfacilitiestodeterminestaffingneeds,coordinatejobfairs,postpositions andrecruitforhardtofill positions.Thispositionispart-timeandrequireslessthan30hoursper weekandisnoteligibleforbenefits.
JOBSPECIFICDUTIES:
•Establishesrecruitingrequirements bystudyingorganizationplansandobjectivesandmeeting withmanagersandprHumanResourcesstafftodiscussneeds,createrecruitmentplansand
innovativewaystoattractcandidates.
•Buildsapplicantsourcesbyresearching andcontactingcommunityservices,colleges,military
installationsoutreachprogramsandothersourcesinordertoprovideorganizationinformation, opportunities,andbenefits
•Buildrelationshipswithpartners
•Reviewsapplications todetermine iftheapplicantmeetsthequalificationsneededfortheposition applied
•Coordinating andattendingjobfairs
•Providesconsultation tomanagersasitrelatestoHRpoliciesandprocedures
•Postingjobannouncementsandscreeningapplicantsusingapplicanttracker,TeamGa Careers
•Updatesjobknowledgebyparticipatingineducationalopportunities,readingprofessional publications,maintainingpersonalnetworks,andparticipatinginprofessionalorganizations
•Research areawhereareasarelocatedinordertodeterminethebeststrategyforrecruitingwithin community
•Someday andovernighttravelmayberequired
M INIMUM Q U A LI FICATIONS: Associatedegreefromanaccreditedcollegeoruniversity AND Two yearsofrelatedexperienceinhuman resources

PR EFERRED Q U A LI FICATIONS: Preferencewillbegiventocandidateswhoinadditiontomeeting theminimumrequirementspossessthreeofthefollowing:
•Two(2)or moreyears'experienceinrecruitingMilitaryand/or LawEnforcementpositions.
•One(1)or moreyears'experienceinrecruitingforstate,local, orfederalgovernment.
•Two(2)or moreyearsworkinginaHumanResourcesfield
•Three(3)ormoreyearsprofessionallevelrecruitingexperience.
•One(1)ormoreyears'experienceinusingTaleooracomparableapplicanttrackingsystem
•Excellentcommunication andinterpersonalskillswithexperiencesuccessfullybuilding relationshipstobeviewedasatrustedresourceforadvice andguidance.
•Demonstratedexperiencewithdevelopingrecruitingplansandinnovativewaystoattractqualified candidates.
