    Description

    Lantheus is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to oversee and manage the Lantheus Managed Service Provider and collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality cloud services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure Cloud services, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and possess the ability to design, implement, and optimize cloud solutions. As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our cloud-based systems.

    Essential Functions

    • Design, develop, and deploy Azure services and tools using infrastructure-as-code
    • Manage and monitor cloud resources including virtual machines, storage, databases, networks, data backup, and virtual desktops
    • Manage Azure Backup
    • Manage Azure Virtual Desktop
    • Manage Azure Identity and Access Management
    • Develop and maintain Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Azure Automation scripts, and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) artifacts to automate the provisioning and management of Azure resources
    • Implement best practices for resource utilization and cost management
    • Migrate existing VMWare infrastructure to cloud-based solution
    • Optimize performance and scalability
    • Monitor, control costs
    • Support day-to-day running of the infrastructure
    Minimum Skills and Experience
    • 10+ year's hands-on technical experience, including:
      • 6+ years of experience working with Microsoft Azure
    • In-depth knowledge of Azure services, networking, and security
    • Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, or other tools for cloud monitoring and logging
    • Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Azure Command-Line Interface (CLI)
    • Experience with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
    • Experience in implementing cloud security, such as encryption, authentication, authorization, firewall, etc.
    • Microsoft Azure certifications are a plus
    • Previous experience in overseeing infrastructure within a Managed Service Provider setting is a plus
