    Job Description Summary
    The Facilities Electrical Engineer will primarily focus on supporting projects and the electrical design needs of the Research Center. Providing additional support to site operations as needed.
    Job Description

    Role Summary/Purpose:
    The Facilities Electrical Engineer will support the site operations of GE Research.
    Develop electrical design drawings using AutoCad

    Generate electrical equipment material lists for procurement

    Work with Project Managers, Researchers and other staff disciplines

    Provide direction to Electricians, Technicians and other trade labor

    Perform field work to validate construction drawings with as-built conditions

    Participate in developing on-site facility electrical requirements

    Maintain/Update plant electrical single line diagrams

    Manage multiple activities simultaneously

    Utilize NFPA, New York State Building Code and OSHA regulations

    Qualifications/Requirements
    Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

    Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering Design

    US Citizenship is required

    Must be willing to work out of an office located in Niskayuna, NY

    Must be 18 years or older

    The base pay range for this position is $93,800 - $156,400 USD Annually.

    The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.

    This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary based on the plan.
