    Description

    The Lucas County Prosecutor is seeking an experienced attorney to fill the full-time position of Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in the Criminal Common Pleas Division.

    Applicants considered for the position must be an Ohio Licensed Attorney (NOT awaiting Bar results.)


    Under administrative direction of the Prosecutor, this individual will perform legal research; draft, review, and file pleadings; attend court hearings, and prosecute cases on behalf of the State of Ohio.

    Trial experience and previous service as an assistant prosecutor preferred, high level felony trial experience is a must.

    Full time position will include benefits all positions include OPERS, sick leave, and vacation time. Starting salary is commensurate with experience.

    Qualifications


    Juris Doctor Member of the Ohio State Bar Must be a lawyer in good standing with the Ohio Supreme Court Three (3) to five (5) years' experience as a practicing attorney preferably with criminal matters (defense, public defender or prosecutor), high level felony experience.
