    As a Process Engineer, your mission is to drive operational excellence within our kaolin operations. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing process efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness. Your responsibilities extend beyond technical expertise; you'll also be a champion of safety within the plant.


    Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

    Critical Projects Management:

    Strategic Focus:
    Work on projects identified as critical through personal efforts, justifications, and recognition by others within KaMin.

    System-Level Impact:
    These projects primarily deal with complete systems.


    Process Improvement and Equipment Evaluation:

    Recommendations:
    Identify and recommend process improvements and actively assist in their implementation.

    Equipment Selection:
    Evaluate processing equipment and provide recommendations for optimal plant use.


    Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    Teamwork:
    Collaborate as part of cross-functional project teams.

    Stakeholder Interaction:
    Interface with internal and external customers.


    Work Environment and Availability:

    Office and Plant Environment:
    Operate in both office and plant settings, subject to internal and external environmental conditions.

    Office Equipment:
    Required to operate standard office equipment.

    Travel and On-Call:
    Some travel may be necessary (including overseas, although rare). Be available and willing to be on-call outside regular hours.


    Knowledge/Skills:
    A 4-year engineering degree from an accredited university, coupled with 3-5 years of experience in an industrial environment.

    Hands-On Expertise:
    Experience in evaluating the performance of existing and new processes, making data-driven recommendations, and successfully implementing process improvements.

    Mineral or Chemical Processing:
    Additional experience in mineral or chemical processing is advantageous.
