    Description

    JFC Global is working on a Design Engineer for our client in the Harrisburg, PA area. Here you would be able to collaborate with teammates & provide hands-on assistance in the design, engineering, & fabrication processes. This is an excellent opportunity for those with a bachelor's or associate degree in design engineering or similar experience This direct hire position is looking to match great benefits with a current salary range between 55-65K

    Responsibilities:

    • Work with engineering and sales teams on the design and design for structures, equipment, and components to be fabricated within Solidworks
    • Developing items, BOMs, etc. using ERP systems.
    • Evaluating standards and vendor bids for compliance.
    • Responsible for calculations
    • Organize drawings & and assembly instructions for working with the shop floor
    Requirements:
    • B.S. or A.S in Design Engineering or similar experience
    • At least 2 years of experience in Machine Design
    • 3 or more years of experience with SolidWorks or CAD
    • Must have knowledge of drawing detailing, design, BOMs, and procedures.
    • Experienced with CNC press break and fabrication
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, creative thinker, and responsible
