    Job Summary

    Riveredge Hospital is a leading psychiatric hospital providing quality behavioral health services and trauma-informed care to children, adolescents, and adults. We offer inpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and community residential programs.


    About the Role

    The Master Intake Specialist provides telephone triage, clinical assessment services, and referral services, processing inpatient hospital admissions within required time frames. They establish therapeutic relationships with clients and families, consistently responding to inquiry calls from community referral sources, consumers, and medical/allied staff.


    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide initial face-to-face assessments to all inquiries
    • Schedule in-house evaluations within one hour

    Requirements
    • Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, or related field (Master's preferred)
    • At least 2 years of experience in a psychiatric treatment setting
    • Maintain annual CPR, First Aid, and crisis prevention/intervention certification
    • Knowledge of psychiatric rehabilitation services and Special Treatment Procedures
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
