Inova Fairfax Hospital is seeking a Full-time Cardiovascular Sonographer 2 to join our dynamic and highly skilled Echo Team

*****Inova Fairfax Medical Center Echo Lab* is an advanced echo imagining center with a strong emphasis on clinical excellence, education, innovation, and research. Our lab is nationally accredited through the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission and is comprised of over 15 sonographers and 20 physicians who support our award-winning clinical programs and hospital. Advanced Pulmonary Hypertension Program (3D RV assessment)

Cardio-Oncology Program
Specialized protocols (strain, 3D assessment, contrast)

The lab has a full fleet of updated Philips machines with advanced 3D and strain imaging technology available and offers regular educational opportunities to assist in developing your knowledge and skill set.

Sonographers also have the opportunity to teach cardiology fellows and sonography students.

Experience:

One year of experience after acquiring registry in a hospital/healthcare environment in the performance of cardiac or vascular sonography

* *Education:

Graduate of an accredited school/program of diagnostic medical sonography or 5 years specialized training in a hospital/healthcare setting

* *Certification(s):

ARDMS Registered with RDCS Certification, or CCI Registered with RCS Certification for Echo, or ARDMS with RVT or CCI with the RVS; Hours/Schedule:
Full-time; facility hours are 8 or 10 hour shifts - 6:30a-5p M-F, 7a-12p Sat & Sun; Team Members are required to rotate through weekends, call, and holidays.

Sonographers rotate to cover holidays, weekends, and on-call shifts

Inova Heart and Vascular Institute, Inova Fairfax Medical Campus, 3300 Gallows Road, Falls Church, VA

Covid-19 patients are isolated in dedicated areas
Inova operates curbside Covid-19 testing sites that are far removed from the main facilities
