Ground-Up Commercial Development
Location: Norcross, GA
Job Type: Full-Time
About Us
We are a growing commercial development company building multiple ground-up gas stations and retail projects. We manage projects from site work through vertical construction and final inspection.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager / Superintendent to manage both on-site construction and in-office project coordination. This role includes supervising subcontractors in the field and handling material takeoffs, budgeting support, and project coordination in the office.
Responsibilities
- Manage ground-up commercial construction from start to finish
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors on site
- Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
- Perform material takeoffs and assist with purchasing
- Review plans and specifications in detail
- Meet with city and county inspectors
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and consultants
- Oversee site work, utilities, concrete, steel, and building construction
- Identify and resolve field issues quickly and efficiently
Qualifications
- Experience in ground-up commercial construction
- Strong understanding of site work and vertical construction
- Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, and architectural plans
- Experience performing material takeoffs
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working both in the office and in the field
Ideal Candidate
Self-motivated, hands-on, and capable of managing projects independently from pre-construction through final inspection. Comfortable balancing field supervision with in-office project planning and coordination.
