Job Schedule:

• Full-time position: Monday to Friday
• Day shifts, 40 hours per week

Compensation: $40.00 per hour

Requirements:

• Degree: Bachelor's degree

Education and Experience:

Applicants must possess at least 3 years of experience in wellness, sports nutrition, or nutrition education. They should have graduated from a college or university accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND), completed a Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) accredited by ACEND, or finished a post Baccalaureate Degree Dietetic Internship Program of supervised practice (of a minimum of 1200 hours) accredited by ACEND.

Registration:

All applicants must hold current registration as a Registered Dietitian from the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Board Certification:

Being Board Certified (or eligible) as a Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) is required. Additionally, individuals must be granted provider privileges by the Credentials Office and maintain these privileges.

Certification:

Applicants should possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or the Red Cross. This certification must be obtained through a full in-person class.

Licensure:

All candidates must hold a current, full, active, and unrestricted license/certification.

Core Job Duties:

• Plan and organize work with minimal supervision
• Engage in research and performance improvement studies
• Act as a role model for weight, fitness, and healthy lifestyle behaviors
• Conduct nutrition assessment/evaluations
• Apply principles of enteral and parenteral nutrition support
• Utilize principles and practices of clinical dietetics and medical nutrition therapy for planning, developing, and independently coordinating medical nutrition therapy intervention, interdisciplinary care plans, and nutrition education activities
• Perform studies, analyses, and document findings to enhance the efficiency of operations related to staff, food, nutrition supplements/feeding, meal alternatives and therapies, supplies, equipment, and services
• Apply current food service systems management principles and practices within a healthcare setting
