Position Summary:
Under the direct supervision of a Nurse Manager or a Resource Nurse, coordinates activities and services on the patient care units while functioning as the focal point of communication at the nursing station.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
Provides services that address the specific needs of age groups from infant to elderly, and is also customized to a variety of needs specific to impairments such as hearing, sight, substance abuse, Non-English speaking, and potential victims of abuse.
Statement, code of ethics, and patient responsibilities into the performance of job responsibilities .
Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
Schedule:
32 hour Evening Shift
Education:
High school graduate or its equivalent
Experience:
Previous experience in clerical or receptionist position preferred.
Hospital
Experience preferred.
Computer experience and medical terminology preferred.
Certification and Licenses Required:
None
