As a Public Engagement Intern, you will assist in the planning and execution of strategic outreach plans in local and outside markets.
    Responsibilities, Expectations, and Duties:
    • Assist in the planning and execution of strategic outreach plans in local and outside markets
    • Produce and distribute content for public information materials, including flyers, door hangers, websites, newsletters, mass and social, presentations, exhibit boards, maps, etc.
    • Work with in-house graphic design team to create print and digital collateral
    • Assist with special events including public meetings and hearings, open houses, groundbreakings, ribbon cuttings, and project tours
    • Monitor public email and hotline accounts while responding to inquiries as needed
    • Lead data entry and report compilation tasks


    Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:
    • Working towards a degree in communication, English, Marketing or similar field.
    • Must possess the ability to work and collaborate with team members, clients, and the public
    • Exceptional writing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills
    • Proactive, self-starter
    • Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint - Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
    • Willing to work occasionally outside of traditional work hours and on weekends.

    Pay Range: $15 - $18, hourly
