- Lead research and development projects to develop new welding processes, techniques, and technologies.
- Conduct experiments and trials to evaluate welding methods and materials for feasibility and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality, to develop and implement new welding solutions.
- Analyze data and results to make recommendations for process improvements and innovations.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in welding technologies and materials.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation of research findings.
- Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding engineering, with a focus on research and development.
- Strong knowledge of welding processes, metallurgy, and materials science.
- Experience with research methodologies, experimental design, and data analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
