    Position Available: Registered Nurse at Pendleton Cottage

    The Pendleton Cottage, part of a larger organization, is offering a great opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join their team dedicated to assisting individuals in their journey to recovery and reintegration into the community.


    Responsibilities:
    • Provide nursing care and wellness education to residents of Pendleton Cottage, a 16-bed residential care facility.
    • Focus on person-centered psychiatric treatment for adults, wellness education development, and advocacy for residents' medical needs.

    Additional Details:
    • This is a permanent position at Pendleton Cottage.
    • Swing shift role requiring work on weekends (50% of the time) with 10-hour or 8-hour shifts.

    Requirements:

    • Obtain a Registered Nurse license from the Oregon State Board of Nursing within a reasonable timeframe.
    • Maintain a valid and unencumbered Oregon Professional Registered Nurse license throughout employment.
    • Demonstrate flexibility in working hours.
    • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and adaptability to diverse situations.
    • Quick problem-solving abilities.
    • Experience in addressing the needs of residents with mental illness and performing venipunctures.
    • Ability to lead wellness-focused group activities and promote health equity.
