Job summary
The Laboratory Computer System Specialist is responsible for performing computer activities necessary to install, operate and maintain the Laboratory Information System (LIS).Perform data entry for department directors as requested. Work with department supervisors and managers in developing and implementing back-up procedures to be used during system downtime.
The Lab Computer System Specialist also responsible for the day-to-day operations of the LIS to ensure efficient and timely reporting of patient's charts,
billing to clients,Lab Outreach audits and billing,daily audits as required by regulatory agencies.,
