- Operate powered industrial trucks or other material handling equipment daily.
- Utilize hand-held RF scanners daily.
- Exercise good judgment to follow instructions, routines, or practices, making minor decisions frequently.
- Regularly engage in assigned special tasks, such as 6S initiatives.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Performing various tasks related to shipping, receiving, and storing parts, materials, and products.
- Prepare parts and materials for shipment, verify quantities, pack, and load trucks.
- Receive shipments, unload trucks, check for completeness and damage, record shipments, and move materials to designated storage areas.
- Avoid damage to equipment, materials, products, or installations due to oversight or negligence.
- Prioritize safety to prevent injuries or accidents due to inherent hazards in the workplace.
- 2nd shift hours are from 12:30pm to 9pm, with an additional $1.20 per hour for 2nd shift.
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a similar environment.
- Proficiency in basic mathematical operations and data interpretation.
- Constant attention to detail and alertness in repetitive or diversified tasks.
- Valid OSHA certification for operating powered industrial trucks.
- Proficient in English - both written and verbal skills.
- Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office applications and warehouse management systems.
- Ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds of products safely, including in elevated positions.
- Frequent use of hand-held RF scanners and equipment operation.
