    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team, specializing in Employment Law. The ideal candidate will be responsible for advocating on behalf of employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators. This role demands a proactive approach to case management, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to client service.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Advocate on behalf of employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators.
    • Prepare correspondence to clients and ensure timely responses to their inquiries.
    • Draft pleadings, motions, and other case-related documents.
    • Regularly attend court appearances, depositions, and client meetings.
    • Manage case calendars and meet all deadlines.
    • Conduct depositions and cross-examinations, particularly focusing on medical experts.
    • Negotiate settlements effectively with opposing counsel.
    • Provide proactive case management and update all case files accurately.
    • Mentor and manage the performance of legal assistant.
    • Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, co-workers, and vendors.
    • Participate in marketing events to nurture relationships with new and existing clients.
    • Review case files regularly and ensure accurate entry of time into billing software.
    • Utilize PracticeMaster for entering and updating case information.
    • Conduct training seminars for clients on recent changes and developments in employment laws.
    • Stay updated with current employment law statutes and regulations.
    • Perform additional duties and tasks as required.

    Qualifications:

    • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
    • Licensed to practice law in the applicable state.
    • Proven experience in employment law, either in a similar role or through a relevant internship.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
