Job summary
The painter will paint construction and renovation projects at Bradley Hospital. They will stain cabinets and tables constructed by the carpentry department.The responsibilities include ordering paint supplies, painting new construction or renovation projects,
cleaning painting equipment,
Patching holes and applying drywall compound,
sand and prepare walls for painting.
Qualifications
BASIC KNOWLEDGE:High school diploma or GED. Or equivalent work experience,Knowledge of painting applications and quality of paint.,Ability to climb and work off ladders.Responsibilities
Orders paint paints new construction or renovations projects repaints existing surfacesMixes paints to match existing surfaces for repainting when necessary Cleans maintains painting equipment Maintain records of existing painted surface colors Patch holes applies drywall compound sands prepares walls Work with Facilities Management Foreman Site Manager determine causes problems coverage peeling blistering etc Maintains quality assurance safety environment infection control established hospital department policies procedures objectives Performs all duties safe professional manner accordance established Bradley Hospital Facilities Management department policy Fleet Risk Control policy procedures Must good driving record meet maintain appropriate valid driver license operate motor vehicles required Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations Brown University Health Fleet Risk Control policy
