The City of Banning is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to perform complex professional engineering work related to planning design construction phases capital improvement projects including water wastewater.Responsibilities
- Lead supervise plan coordinate manage Engineering Division review recommend approval subdivision maps grading erosion control plans developer public improvement plans issue encroachment permits construction work within Citys public right-of-way administer National Flood Insurance program Capital Improvement Projects Water Wastewater Streets Storm Drains Parks Airport Public Buildings maintain utility plats showing water sewer recycled water storm drain facilities provide public access all City drawings deeds maps assessment district diagrams aerial photos utility drawings GIS mapping updates maintenance perform special studies meet confer developers contractors engineers general public relative City policies regulations engineering standards procedures coordinate discrepancies resolve problem situations outside parties oversee land easement acquisition activities supervise preparation updating maintenance maps records prepare review improvement agreements interpret apply prepare revisions relevant codes ordinances rules regulations develop administer assigned division budget administer oversee consultant contracted services track division costs coordinate engineering activities other City departments divisions appropriate serve staff variety City outside commissions boards committees assigned supervise train evaluate assigned professional technical clerical staff conduct special engineering studies area responsibility prepare reports analyses ensure adherence codes applicable laws regulations guidelines relating engineering activities
