- Position: Speech-language Pathologist
- Reports to: VP of Clinical Services
- Employment Term: Full-time Employment
- Degree in Speech and Language Pathology
- Active State license required in good standing
- Knowledge of Speech Therapy theory, procedures, practices and equipment.
- Good communication skills. A proactive, positive approach to problem-solving.
- Thorough knowledge of possible hazards/necessary precautions/remedial measures in the treatment and care of clients.
- Ability to assess and implement treatment programs for simple and complex therapy diagnoses.
- Fully adhere to the Loveland Center's Code of Ethics and Core Values.
- Perform evaluations to identify therapy needs and develop specific treatment programs based off of those needs
- Communicate the speech therapy POC with clients, their families and other clinicians
- Practices efficient use and selection of supplies and equipment
- Demonstrates an awareness of legal issues, patient rights and compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies
- Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills; ability to read/comprehend written instructions; ability to follow verbal instructions
