Baer is looking for Cloud Operations Kubernetes Lead for a 3-month Federal Remote Project.

Title: Cloud Operations Kubernetes Lead
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 3 months
Rate: All-inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C (Vendors Not Permitted)

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the administration, operations, and support of the AWS environment for critical applications.
Drive the operations support for all development teams, facilitating code promotions, and ensuring the effective use of Helm and Flyway across environments.
Act as the Development Lead, tackling the most complex coding assignments for enhancements and new releases.
Provide mentorship and guidance to other developers, conduct thorough code reviews, and ensure adherence to architecture standards and guidelines.
Coordinate effectively across teams and systems, ensuring all developers within the team have clear direction and support for their tasks.

Requirements:

Profound expertise in Linux and Shell Scripting.
Strong experience with Helm, Kubernetes, and container technologies.
Experience with Kafka and AWS preferred
Familiarity with database management and operations in Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, and MongoDB.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Public Trust Security Clearance is the lowest level of additional background screening that the federal government requires for applicants of certain jobs, which includes completing aStandard Form 85 (SF85)form.
