- PROPERTY OPERATIONS: Effectively oversee the Housekeeping Department to ensure all guests and staff enjoy a clean, attractive, well-maintained, and secure hotel.
- Ensure high cleanliness standards in guest rooms following brand and hotel guidelines, including in-house laundry.
- Make a positive first impression by maintaining cleanliness in public areas like the lobby, corridors, and elevators.
- Ensure a safe environment for everyone by implementing best practices and securing all areas.
- Protect equipment and assets while reporting any defects promptly.
- Perform various cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing linens in guest rooms and common areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Coordinate effectively with other hotel departments, especially Maintenance.
- Adhere to safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Complete deep cleaning processes for guest rooms and common areas, maintaining records and conducting inspections.
- Follow deep cleaning procedures meticulously.
- Assist with other duties as needed.
- PEOPLE MANAGEMENT: Recruit, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to achieve high productivity and morale.
- Provide one-on-one coaching for effective staff development.
- Promote interdepartmental coordination to enhance overall performance.
- Demonstrate hospitality values in line with the hotel's culture.
- FINANCIAL OPERATIONS: Collaborate with the General Manager to control expenses according to the hotel's financial objectives.
- Create staff schedules based on occupancy forecasts and revenue.
- Manage inventories within established guidelines and support purchase decisions.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a housekeeper at Holiday Inn Express, IHG, or similar establishments.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
- Capable of handling a high-volume workload efficiently.
