The Safety Manager is an integral part of the company's distribution department and will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with all occupational health and safety legislationPerform safety inspections to identify potential hazards or risksMaintain a current safety training matrix and report on any deficiencies or identified gaps in the training programMonitor and partner with HR in managing workers compensation claimsIf the daily responsibilities sound like a good match, please see the education and experience requirements:Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related field3+ years of experience in a distribution or manufacturing environmentAbility to thrive in a fast paced environmentExceptional communication skillsThis role is required to be on-site 5 days a week**#J-18808-Ljbffr
