Sr. Business Systems Analyst

Las Vegas, NV (Onsite)

Minimum Qualifications:

• A minimum of five (5) years working in Information Technology field with a Bachelor's Degree or

equivalent.

• A minimum three (3) years experience as a Business Analyst or Project Coordinator

• Experience in a government setting.

• Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM module for managing and updating projects.

• Ability to organize and lead highly technical focus groups composed of primarily Infrastructure,

Network Systems, and Desktop services.

• Demonstrates professional organization, documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Analytical problem-solving abilities, proactive/positive team player, resourceful and innovative.

• Hands-on experience developing both technical and user-friendly communications as well as

documenting technical requirements, creating job aids, and monitoring project progress using

Service-Now.

• Proven multi-tasking skills, including ability to work effectively under pressure, handle heavy

volumes and meet demanding deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to work in a Balanced Matrix environment, with tenured resources and evolving priorities.

• Excellent command of written and spoken English, should demonstrate fluency in both oral and

writing communications.

• At a minimum have fundamental knowledge of: IT Projects

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in local government.

• Ability to communicate effectively with external stakeholders as well as internal staff.

• Self-starter with the ability to take on tasks with minimal direction when needed.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills.

• Pass a stringent criminal background check (May take up to 8 weeks
