    We are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Travel Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team in the Labor and Delivery (LDR) unit.


    As a Travel Registered Nurse in the LDR unit at NCG Associates, you will provide comprehensive and specialized nursing care to expectant mothers and their newborns during the labor and delivery process.

    You will assess the mother's vital signs, monitor fetal heartbeat, assist with pain management, and provide emotional support.

    You will also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and positive birthing experience for both mother and baby.

    Requirements

    Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice

    Graduation from an accredited nursing program

    Minimum of 1 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing

    Strong knowledge of labor and delivery processes, postpartum care, and newborn care

    Ability to assess fetal well-being and interpret fetal heart rate tracings

    Knowledge of pain management techniques during labor

    Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills

    Effective communication and interpersonal skills

    Ability to remain calm and provide emotional support in high-stress situations

    Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

    BLS and NRP certifications

    $1,728 - $1,800 @36hrs Weekly


    Desired Start Date:

    ASAP
    Length of Assignment: 14 weeks

    Hours per Week: 36 Hrs.


    Shift and Time:
    Nights; 12 hours


    Schedule Details:
    On-call Details : 4 on call shifts per month. One 12 hour shift a week


    Weekend Rotation:
    Every other


    Holidays Requirements:
    Required


    Floating Requirements:
    Will float to Med/Surg as needed

    Experience Required: 1 year LDR


    License Required:
    Kansas RN


    Certificates Required:
    BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP |Must have taken a fetal monitoring class (intermediate or advanced) within the past 24 months
