    Description


    We are seeking an Account Manager (NJ) who is accountable for forging, fostering, and maintaining accounts for Ascend's wholesale business.

    The ideal candidate has an exceptional grasp of the wholesale landscape, is able to garner positive relationships and delivers world class customer service to Ascend's clients.

    They will curate strategies to reach and exceed revenue targets by identifying, prospecting and connecting with opportunities in the market.


    Location:
    New Jersey; travel throughout the state 4-5 days per week

    Primary Responsibilities:
    Plan, and execute a comprehensive wholesale roadmap that aligns to company growth strategy within their assigned territory (NJ)

    Achieve monthly revenue targetsDevelop and maintain strong client relationships with wholesale partners and prospectsIdentify new business opportunities, pitch, and manage negotiations for new wholesale partners and evaluate existing partnersTarget new markets/regions for expanding wholesaleAbility to develop effective relationships with decision makersSupport the development of store merchandising and account marketing activationsParticipate in company sponsored and industry related events and tradeshowsConduct pricing, cost analysisEducation, Experience, and Training:

    Bachelor's degree in related field preferred3+ years successful sales experience in beer/wine/spirits or related fields preferredMust be 21 years of age or olderSuccessful sales track recordHighly effective communicatorPassion for nurturing and building relationshipsFlexible to work in a fast paced, changing environmentReliable transportation and ability to travel throughout the state of NJAbility to work outside of normal business hoursPassionate about delivering best in class serviceAbility to effectively negotiate and communicate across various levelsMust be proficient in Microsoft office suite, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointExperience with HubSpot or CRM preferredTreats people with respect, keeps commitments, inspires the trust of others, works with integrity and upholds organizational valuesIs consistently at work and on time, ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent, arrives at meetings and appointments on timeCompany OverviewAscend Wellness Holdings (AWH) is a vertically integrated cannabis cultivator, processor and provisioning center operator with assets in Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
