Job DescriptionPeoplelink Staffing Solutions has partnered with a well-established manufacturer in Fremont, IN. This company has been a leading manufacturer of trailer axels and brakes within numerous markets for over 60 years. They pride themself in having a team-oriented work environment with room for growth. • 1st Shift - $18.14/hr.
  • Hours - 6am – 2pm plus mandatory OT
• Must be flexible to work Overtime – 10 hours plus Saturday 8-10 hours
• Full time – fast paced

Assembly Duties:

• Feeding, stripping, hand twisting, crimping, and heat shrinking wires
• Installing various components using hand and air tools
• Verifying shop orders and paint certification marks
• Packing, stacking, and banding axles to prepare for shipment
• Be dependable and detail oriented
• Flexible to work overtime as required

Assembly Qualifications:

• Be able to lift up to 55 lbs. or more consistently
• Be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must have general math skills and be proficient at reading a tape measure
• Prior manufacturing / assembly line experience helpful
• Diploma/GED not required
